Remove unwanted fat in the lower part of your face with facial liposuction in Thailand. Create definition and shape while getting rid of jowls, double chins and that so-called "turkey neck"–those stubborn areas that no amount of exercise will help.
This is a relatively quick and easy way of achieving a younger-looking face without undergoing a full facelift. Many people find that dealing with these problem areas is all they need. However, you must have a good degree of elasticity in your skin for it to tighten up once the fat is removed. If not, you may need other treatments to remove the loose skin.
Medical Tourism in Thailand
Thailand is well established in the field of medical tourism., with excellent clinics with well-trained and qualified physicians – and a customer care ethic that is second-to-none. Providing you do a little research and choose a reliable doctor, there is no reason why you won’t be overjoyed by the results of your treatment.
While Thailand may still be considered a "developing" country, its hospitals and medical services catering to international patients are world-class, meeting all international safety standards, as well as being equipped with the latest technological advances, and staffed by doctors and ancillary workers who are well-trained and highly-skilled.
As well as saving a good amount of money, undergoing this cosmetic procedure in Thailand also presents a great chance to enjoy an exotic holiday prior to your procedure. We are partnered with clinics in cities across the country, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Pattaya—great destinations for visitors of all types.
At Medical Departures carries out a number of quality checks on all our clinics; if we’re not happy with any aspect of their services, then we simply don’t list them on our site. These checks include clinic visits, verification of qualifications and professional memberships, as well as online patient reviews. We also check legal and criminal records. Traveling overseas for any procedure is daunting enough, so at least ensure you have confidence in your clinician.
When booking with Medical Departures, you are also assured of the best prices online, as well as 24/7 customer service and assistance with other aspects of your medical trip such as insurance, hotel bookings, and finance.
Most facial liposuction treatments take around an hour.
The procedure is fairly straightforward. After administering an anesthetic, the surgeon will set to work. Small incisions are made in inconspicuous areas–either under the shin, in the angle of the jaw bone, or sometimes inside the bottom lip.
A thin tube (cannula) is inserted and a liquid pumped in to liquefy the fat (although sometimes ultrasound can be used for this). The liquefied fat is then sucked out (usually using the same tube) and the wounds stitched closed.
Painkillers will be given to ease post-up discomfort, and you will have some bruising and swelling. Usually, after a day or two, you will feel much better, although the bruising and swelling will last for around two weeks. You may be able to disguise it with a scarf or high-necked clothing, and some men grow a beard until the bruising has gone.
Swelling will be reduced if you sleep in an elevated position. You will need to refrain from doing vigorous exercise or other strenuous activity for four to five weeks. The scars fade gradually from pink to white and will be hardly noticeable after a year.
The cost for facial liposuction in Thailand is around AUD $1,300 (US $900; CAD $1,200; GBP £600; Euros 800) compared to AUD $2,600 (US $1,800; CAD $2,400; GBP £1,200; Euros 1,600) in Australia.
