About Bangkok Hospital (Pattaya)

Established in 1990, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is one of the most visited healthcare providers in Thailand’s Chonburi province, located within 90 minutes from the capital.<br>

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is one of the most visited healthcare providers in Thailand’s Chonburi province, with medical travelers able to reach the center within 90 minutes from the nation’s capital. Established in 1990, the 300-bed facility offers a wide range of medical and cosmetic procedures.

The hospital is part of the renowned Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Group (BDMS), which runs a nationwide network of six hospital groups totaling 47 facilities across Thailand. It first received Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in 2009, with further reviews in 2012 and 2015. It was also certified ISO 9002 in 1997 (updated to ISO 9001:2000).

The hospital is best known for its Heart Center, the only one of its kind in the region to offer the same kind of advanced technology as provided in its Bangkok facility. Other specialist centers include the Emergency Medical Services Center, Beauty Center, Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center, Brain and Neuro-Science Center and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Center.

With the mission of “being the leader in providing an international standard, efficient and ethical high-quality care,” Bangkok Hospital Pattaya now employs more than 100 specialists and has invested in some of the most advanced equipment, thus enabling doctors to make accurate diagnoses and deliver the best possible treatments to patients. This includes digital MRI 3.0 T, 128-slice CT and OCT scanning technology, as well as a picture archiving and communication system.

International patients visiting Pattaya for high-quality, competitively-priced cosmetic work are referred to the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Center; here, experienced plastic surgeons and dermatologists offer a wide choice of surgical and non-invasive procedures to enhance one’s physical appearance.

Some of the most popular cosmetic treatments sought by patients include:

Breast Augmentation Procedures

- Round silicone implant

- Teardrop silicone implant

- Breast lift

- Breast lift and augmentation

- Breast reduction

- Breast silicone removal

Abdominoplasty

I had a cyst in my groin area for about 5 years. The USA docs gave me pills for it to reduce swelling. Upon an inspection in Pattaya at a separate clinic, the doc asked,, why don't they just take it out? He sent me to Bangkok Hospital, no appointment,, they got me right in, saw a surgeon within one hour, 2 hours later I left, minus one cyst that would have become cancerous. It was awesome.

Totally incompetent staff. If you plan to have eye surgery there, learn Braille first. Despite medical confirmations from BKK from the 2 best ophthalmologists that the wrong lenses were improperly inserted into me, the hospital management took no responsibility. Previously I had 3 ultrasound scans for suspected hernia. 3 examinations - 3 different findings! They can't do anything there except rip off money. What's the point of a 5-star room if the doctors can't do anything?
