Prior to undergoing a breast lift, it is important to speak to your specialist regarding your final goals. Before you go into surgery, your physician will mark the desired position on your breast where your nipple will be raised.

• You should limit your activity during your recovery, as directed by your surgeon.
• Most patients are able to return to work within one week following a breast lift, although it may still be necessary to wear bandages and a surgical bra.
• As the healing process continues, discomfort may last for several more weeks. For this reason, you should avoid vigorous activity during this time.
