The Apex Profound Beauty Clinic was founded over 25 years ago by Dr Nantapat Supapannachart and now has over a dozen branches in and around Bangkok, as well as in other popular tourist locations, such a Phuket and Pattaya.

I visited Apex in November for botox injections for a simple crows feet procedure. I have been doing this procedure for years, in various countries and the Apex experience was just dishonest. I selected Apex at Emporium, despite their higher prices, specifically to avoid being cheated, but was I wrong. The procedure took about 3 minutes, with 3 quick injections on each side. I did feel like the injections were done in a different location around the eye as what I am accustomed to, but I am not the expert so I trusted the Apex doctor. Before leaving, I insisted on getting an invoice, and the staff was very reluctant to give one. Anyhow, I paid the 8,500 baht for the 5 minute procedure. To my surprise, the procedure didn’t bring any change to my face, beside me getting a black eye, which has never happened over all the years I have been doing this procedure. After a couple weeks I contacted Apex to inform them that there no effect at all, and they quickly replied to say that they could touch up. I did explain that I was out of the country and would only return in December. They replied by asking me to contact them once I returned. Once I returned, Apex suddenly ignored all of my messages. My wife decided to contact Apex as they were not responding to me, and after some time, they told her that they do not do touch ups after one month, which is very different from their original story from Apex. Anyhow, be very careful with Apex. I would never go back. I do not know what went wrong … either - the doctor is just not qualified to do proper injections - they inject something else which is not botox, as at no point can the botox bottle be seen - they over dilute the botox to cheat the customer - whatever other reason I can not think of. I simply want to discourage people from using Apex as they are no more honest than anyone else. Do not trust their higher prices as a guarantee of honesty. Go to Bumrungrad as I have never had issues there, and they are accountable for undesired results.
