Xingli, a lactation consultant at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, has been an invaluable support in my breastfeeding journey. Her professionalism and expertise in lactation management are evident in her ability to skillfully clear ducts and provide effective guidance. Thanks to her knowledge and patience, I have been able to produce sufficient milk for two of my children- one ongoing and 2nd child (14 months). Xingli's meticulous approach and swift problem-solving skills have alleviated my discomfort and pain, making the process much more manageable. Her targeted advice and encouragement have reassured me that my experience with my second and third children would be different from my first, where I faced challenges with low milk supply. Indeed, her guidance has made this journey less daunting and more fulfilling. I am truly grateful for Xingli's assistance and only wish I had met her sooner. Her support has been a blessing, and I highly recommend her services to any mother seeking lactation advice.

Unfortunately, for a private hospital, the attitude of the receptionists at the endoscopy department were very rude and loud. There were many patients (including my friend) who were waiting to register. My friend was asked to register at 830am with his procedure at 2pm. We heard the receptionist informing enquiring patients who had waited for half an hour, that their number will only be called by procedure time. It was 830am, one of the enquiring patient's procedure was 1030am and the receptionist told him, she would not call his number yet and he still has to wait. We were appalled because my friend's procedure is at 2pm. So why ask patients to come so early then?

Mount Elizabeth Hospital at Orchard has got to be one of the worst private hospitals in Singapore. As of the time of this review, the hospital is undergoing major renovation work. So if your loved ones require rest, this place is highly NOT recommended. Drilling sounds that goes through your head can go on for the entire day and the construction teams actually disregard any normal conventions stopping work to reduce noise at night. The removal of debris can be clearly heard from the ward throughout the night. The management should have already received a number of complaints, as there was a grunt going around setting up I quote “sound-meters” to measure the sound. That sounds like deluded management trying to measure and resolve the issue from miles away behind a cushy desk. Anyone with non-impaired hearing can hear the drilling and you need a meter!??? And oh, the lifts to the wards, omg. The only star I am giving for my review is dedicated to the nursing staff who helped out a lot with my mom’s stay. They were endlessly patient with her, helped to feed and clean her when we couldn’t do it properly. I am really thankful for that.

There is a Starbucks on the left hand side of the gate towards the parking gate. It is usually difficult to get a seat after 9 o'clock. However, the bench on the right hand side has a power socket. Perfect for me, sitting for five hours at work. Also, I love seeing the international people here.
